11^th January 2017, CDR received a visit from PDRM Kedah (Royal Malaysia Police Kedah) and TV9. The purpose of the visit was to share and discuss issues related to drug abuse, particularly ketum among people in the state of Kedah. The delegates from PDRM Kedah include SAC Hashim Ali (Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department), Superintendent Helmi Aris (Head of Narcotic Department) and CR Wan Su Haron (Head Psychologist), while TV9 crew include Adie Sufian Zulkefli, Rodhi Md Rejab, Mohd. Hafiz Jamil. After discussion session and introduction of research activities conducted at CDR by CDR academic staff, the delegates visited CDR lab facilities. We hope that the visit sowed seeds for collaborative projects between CDR and PDRM Kedah in future.
