8^th April 2016, CDR welcomed the delegates from Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia. During the visit, the delegates, Prof. Dr. Iekhsan Othman and Dr. Mohd Farooq Shaikh mentioned their intention to expand research collaboration between Monash University and CDR USM, particularly in the area of neurobehaviour and potentially, blood-brain barrier research. Among the topics discussed include areas of mutual research interest, available facilities and joint supervision of students. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amin Malik Shah Abdul Majid from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences USM also joined the discussion. We hope that the visit will further strengthen the collaboration between CDR and the group from Monash University Malaysia.
