Animal Behaviour and Electrophysiology Facilities
AOne of the major research facility expansion at the centre upon recognition as a centre of excellence by the Ministry of Higher Education is the establishment of animal behaviour laboratories. Currently, the laboratories support behavioural study using animal models from rodent species. In near future, the centre will have a facility for research projects utilizing zebra fish as model. In addition, the centre also has the facility to support electrophysiological research.

- Operant conditioning system (for mice and rats)
- Passive/active avoidance system
- Elevated and modular mazes
- Morris water maze
- Rotarod
- Surgical – Microsurgical microscopes, stereotaxic
