The guest speaker was Mr. Sahar Sulaiman, a certified physiotherapist and CEO of GT Physio and Rehabilitation. With more than 22 years of experience, Mr. Sahar gave an engaging and practical talk about how good ergonomics can improve health and prevent common work-related injuries. He shared how simple changes to posture and movement can make a big difference. The programme lasted three hours and included several activities: a talk, a Q&A session, a live demonstration of proper ergonomic practices, and individual physical assessments. Mr. Sahar explained typical ergonomic issues people face at work and offered clear tips to help improve posture and reduce strain.
At the end of the session, Prof. Nizam presented a token of appreciation to Mr. Sahar on behalf of the organisers. This event shows CDR’s strong commitment to building a healthy and sustainable work environment. By helping participants learn how to prevent injuries and take better care of their physical well-being, the talk supported both personal health and professional development. Attendees also received CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points.
